John Thomas Harrett, 84, of R.R. 7, Woodstock passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital, Woodstock on Thursday, March 5, 2020.

He was born at Windsor on April 15, 1935 a son of the late John Sylvester Harrett and the former Mary Frances Stafford.

He had been a bank manager with C.I.B.C.

John is survived by his wife, the former Joy Faye Dennis, whom he married at Kitchener on May 3, 1969; three sons, Troy and wife Darla Harrett of Woodstock; Trevor Harrett and Trent Harrett, both of Stratford; seven grandchildren, Tanner, Chanelle and Aleisha Harrett; Leanna and husband Lee Kozic; Brin, Cassie and Mitchell Harrett; three sisters, Audrey and husband Grant Reid of Elora, Betty and husband Floyd Martin of Kitchener, Gerry Crewson of Elora; many nieces, nephews and their families.

He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Bruce Crewson.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
