MACDONALD, Dorothy (Himes) - At Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Dorothy Milldred Almedia MacDonald of Woodstock in her 79th year. Loved mother of Melvin, Carry, Ken, Tom and Tim (Bev), all of Woodstock, Cindy (Chris) of Hickson and Steve of Drumbo. Dear Grandmother of 16 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Allan of Tavistock, Shirley Church of Drumbo, Robert of Hickson, Laura Rice of Woodstock and Ross Himes. Predeceased by a son Victor, siblings Leo, Margaret, Aileen, Kenneth and Donald. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LEROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street N., Woodstock on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Snihur officiating. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated and may be made through the funeral home (519-537-3611).
