GARNER, Keith - Peacefully at Secord Trails Care Community, Ingersoll on Saturday September 26, 2015, Keith Richard Garner in his 59th year. Loving brother of Doug (Shirley), Allan (Irene), Wayne (Mary Ellen), Elaine Cougler (Ron), Glen (Alma), Brian, John (Susan), Joyce Jackson (Brian) and Donna (Rick Hughes), and brother-in-law Steve Van Winden, sister-in-law Donna Hiuser. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ernie and Alice (Doxey) Garner, brothers Ross and Roger, and sister Linda Van Winden. Dearly remembered by Sue Garner and the Endicott family. In a life of community service, Keith was an insurance broker at BrokerLink, a councillor and farmer in the Township of Zorra, the founding president of Thistle Theatre in Embro, a church elder, and a tenor in the Woodstock Choralaires, to name only a few of the organizations he was involved with over the years. His love of singing and directing musicals was surpassed only by his love of showing Belgian horses. He was quick with a joke and could always be counted on in a crisis. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jeff Nichols, his friends who offered faithful support, and the kind caregivers at Secord Trails Care Community and Woodstock Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. Knox United Church, Embro, Rev. Andrea Allan officiating. A time of visiting with family will follow the service, at Embro Zorra Community Centre, 355644 35th Line Embro. Cremation has taken place. Private interment at North Embro Cemetery. Contributions to Knox United Church Memorial Fund or Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.londoncremation.com.
