Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Grand River Hospital, Kitchener. Jim Delahunt of Bright in his 76th year.
Beloved husband of Joan (Arsenault) Delahunt who she married May 20, 1972. Dear father of James of Woodstock and Michelle Delahunt and Shawn Crawford of Woodstock. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jasper and Jasmine. Dear brother of Janice Collins of Maccan, NS, Carolyn and George Johnson of Great Village, NS, Art and Mary Delahunt of Bright, Beth and Roy Ellis of Fernie, BC, and Everett and Charlene Delahunt of Maccan, NS. Also remembered by his brothers and sisters-in-law Patsy Stevenson of Bright, Marilyn and Derek Clough of Woodstock, Kirk Arsenault of Collingwood Corners, NS, Larry and Marcia Arsenault of Ingersoll and Pat Arsenault of Woodstock and by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Vance and Dorothy (Lamb) Delahunt, sister Marilyn, brothers-in-law Robert Collins, Richard Donkin, Donald Arsenault and Robert Stevenson and his mother and father-in-law Vic and Shirley Arsenault.
Jim retired from Budd Automotive after 37 years of service .
A celebration of Jim's life will take place at the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. Plattsville on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
