Passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the John Noble Home, Brantford. Ruth Anne Koebel of Woodstock and formerly of Bright in her 77th year.
Beloved wife of the late Gary Koebel who predeceased her April 20, 2016. Loving mother of Cheryl James of Princeton. Grandmother to Kurt and Wes James. Remembered by her sisters and brothers, the late Marlene and Paul Quigley of Woodstock, Jim and Linda Riddell of Innerkip, Charlie and Donna Riddell of Woodstock, Marie and Mike Brousseau of Bright, the late Bill Riddell, Marion and Lee Mabee of Innerkip, Julie Riddell of Innerkip and Tom and Irene Riddell of Innerkip. Ruth Anne will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents LeRoy and Minnie (Roberts) Riddell and by her son David "Flip" Koebel on July 3, 1999 and son-in-law Paul James June 26, 2020.
A Celebration of Ruth's life will take place on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at the Woodstock Navy Club from 2-5 p.m. Interment will take place later in Chesterfield Cemetery.
