PARSONS, Robert Alexander (Bob)

August 7, 1931 - January 8, 2023

Robert Alexander Parsons (Bob), in his 92nd year, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at Woodstock General Hospital, on Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Forever and greatly missed by his dear wife Donna (Bushfield); Bob's children Bob Parsons Jr. (Jeanette), Angela Parsons, Kristen Parsons, and Shawna McLeod (James); Pat Chatterson (Lawrence 2021), Lawney Chatterson (Charity), Chad Chatterson; Cathy McRae (Mark), Carrie Prowse (Paul); Bob's stepchildren Norman Bushfield; Robert Bushfield (Susie) Ryan and Cameron, Tim Bushfield (Vicki); Kathlene Locke (Terry) Charlie, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Bob is survived by his sister Eleanor Golding (Bernie), Comox, BC, and by his brother David Parsons of Woodstock.

Bob was predeceased by his loving wife, Kathleen (nee Bryson 1995); his parents George and Dorothy Parsons; his brother Gerald Parsons (2022); his daughter-in-law Cindy Parsons (2012); his great-granddaughter Makayla Parsons-Konert (2011).

Following a 32-year career with the Ontario Provincial Police in Tillsonburg, Bob retired to his birthplace Woodstock, where he immensely enjoyed his neighbours with a friendly wave and smile as they strolled by his favourite place at his living room picture window.

In keeping with Bob's expressed wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 15.
