Passed away on January 6th, peacefully in his sleep with family by his side due to complications from pneumonia at the age of 91, once again reunited with the love of his life Florence. Son of the late Wilfred and Clara Littlejohns. Cherished Father of Brian Littlejohns and his wife Denise of Barrie, Roger Littlejohns and his wife Cindy of London and Cindy Bryson and her partner Mike Pollington of Tillsonburg. Very special Grandpa of Kate and Kyle Braithwaite, Ted and Nichole Lane, Jordan Bryson and her partner Kaitlyn Ipsen and Mike Bryson. Adored Great-Grandpa of Autumn and Aurora Braithwaite and Kara Lane. Survived by his favourite Sister Judy and her husband Carl Serviss, Brother Gary Littlejohns and his wife Carol, Sisters-in-law Ina Littlejohns, Mary McMillian and Jean Simkin and many caring nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his in-laws John and Alice Simkin, his Brother Harry Littlejohns and Brothers-in-law Mike Moskal, George Simkin, and Allan McMillian. Alvin was a dedicated member of College Avenue United Church since 1964 and was one of the "guys behind the famous sign". He was always there to lend a helping hand for anyone who needed him and will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humour, his classic Model A and for driving his Big Red Truck around town. Visitation will be held at College Avenue United Church, 22 Wilson St. Woodstock on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 form 12 to 1 p.m. with the service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
