With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our mother, Barbara "Ann" Thomson on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, following surgery. Loving wife of Ken Thomson (predeceased) for 67 years. Loving mother of Stephen (Annette), David (Karen) and Scott (Barb). Loving Grandmother of Erica, Graeme, Colin, Julie (Matt), Brian (Caitlin), Sara (David), Tess, Grace (Victor) and James (Michelle). Great-grandmother to Wes, Natalie, Imogen, Emily, Eddie, Evelyn and Oliver.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Maynard and Gloria Watson (McEwen), her parents-in-law George and Kay Thomson, her sister Nancy Gerrie and her brother Paul Watson

Ann graduated from nursing college in 1955 in her home town of Fergus, Ontario. She and Ken were married in October of the same year and were inseparable ever since, spending their life together in Oxford County. Ann was an avid swimmer and enjoyed camping and travelling throughout Canada. Always with a smile on her face, she made and kept friends easily. She cherished her classmates from her college days and the many friends made throughout her married life. Ann lived her last years at Princess Gardens in Peterborough.
