It is with deep sadness that we the family announce the unexpected, but peaceful passing, of our much-loved spouse, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many, Elizabeth Pearl Bates, on December 28, 2022, at the age of 46. Elizabeth was born in Ingersoll, to her mother Donna Vanderven (husband Ray), of Vienna and to her father Murray Bates, of British Columbia. Survived by her husband, Mark Strathdee, of Ingersoll. Always a caring mother and grandmother to her boys and their families: Jesse Lamers (Katelynn Scott), of Cultus and their children Kenzie and Jeremy; Jonathan (Marsadis) Lamers, of Woodstock, and children Adam, Carter, Jesse, Miles, Riley, and Cody. Also lovingly remembered by her sisters Marion Prince and Shenna (Richard) Oatman. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private family gathering has taken place to remember and honour Elizabeth's life.
