Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll on Monday, April 25, 2022, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Vale (1964) and Richard Hanson (1994). Loving mother of Ellen (Brian) Howard, Frank Vale, and Brian (Nicole) Vale. Cherished grandmother of the late Dave Howard (2014), Jeff Howard, Shane Vale, Chad (Lisa) Vale, and Carrie (Stewart) Martin, and Sunshine (Ian) Calton and great-grandmother of Jacob, Rubin, Brock, Logan, Sierra, Cooper, Preston, Ben, William, Olivia, and step-great-granddaughter Taylor. Dear sister to Reg (Fran) Todd, and sister-in-law to Elaine, Muriel and Marion Todd. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Colleen Vale, sister Beatrice (Bill) Baskett and brothers Fred, Alex (Marg), Gord, and Charles Todd. Eleanor is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will take on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.
