On Tuesday, November 2 2021, Barry Smith, a lifelong resident of Burgessville, ON, entered into eternal rest. Barry is pre-deceased by his wife Pat (2008) and his parents Grant and Ruth Smith. Barry is survived by his wife Mary, daughters Michelle (Brian) Neumann and Julie Smith, step -daughter Dallas (David) Lewers, much adored grand-daughters Megan Urchik and Katie Urchik and many extended family members. Barry was a farmer all of his life, taking great pride in following his father's footsteps in the dairy business, including achieving a Master Breeder award for his fine herd of Holstein Friesians. Friends will be received at the Arn- Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m and Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 12:00-12:45 p.m, at the Burgessville Baptist Church, 63 Church Street West, Burgessville, ON. Funeral service to be held at the Burgessville Baptist Church, Burgessville, ON, on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at the Burgessville Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pat and Barry Smith Scholarship Fund through the Oxford Community Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
