BEEMER, Ralph Anderson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph Anderson Beemer on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Secord Trails, Ingersoll, in his 87th year. Beloved Husband of Florabelle (Bartram). Dear Father of Tom of Ingersoll, Elizabeth (Bill) McKinnon of Springfield and Becky (Mark) Bates of Thamesford. Proud Grandfather of Brittany, Morgan and Megan Bates. Also survived by his sister Margaret Beemer and brother-in-law John Bartram. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Grace, his sister Catherine Mallot and brother Frank. A life-long resident of Ingersoll, Ralph worked at Ingersoll Fasteners, Macnab Auto and Bus Sales and the Morrow Screw & Nut Factory. Ralph was a life-long sports fan. He played on many local hockey and baseball teams and enjoyed keeping in touch with his hockey buddies. He was a founding member of the Ingersoll Golf & Country Club and was a member of the Ingersoll Legion. Ralph loved to watch his Grandchildren play sports and he and Florabelle went to as many games and activities as they could. Cremation has taken place. Respecting Covid restrictions, all are welcome to join the family to celebrate Ralph at a graveside service to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17 at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Donations in Ralph's memory to the Ingersoll Sports Hall of Fame, or a charity of one's choice, would be greatly appreciated by the family and can be made through the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home at (519) 425-1600. Personal condolences may be posted at www.mcbeathdynes.ca.
