Peacefully at Tillsonburg Hospital with family, Willy Valcke of Harvest Crossing, Tillsonburg, passed away in his 84th year. He was born in Belgium on October 23, 1937 to the late Leon Valcke and Rachel (Verbeke) Valcke. He immigrated to Canada in 1951, with his parents. Much loved husband of Raymonda. Father to Cathy (Paul) D'Amico, Deb (Terry) Deroo. Stepfather to Dirk (Linda) Boudry. Loving Grandpa to Nicole (Eric), Devon (Taylor), Kaitlin (Sean), and Sean. Only brother to Dany (Cathy) Valcke of Indiana. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Nancy (nee Climo) in 1994. Willy was a dedicated employee of Timberjack for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, especially his yearly, week long summer fishing trips with friends. Taking up accordion at a young age, Willy was an accomplished musician. Family and friends will remember the good times when he pulled out the old "squeeze box".

A private service will take place at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock (519-539-0004), and burial at the Anglican cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Woodstock General Hospital will be gratefully acknowledged by the family and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home.
