Passed away peacefully at his home in Woodstock on Monday, May 11, 2020 at the age of 87. Born June 8, 1932 in Knowlton Brome, Quebec. He is survived by his daughters Bonnie (Grant) Hartsell and Sandra (Gary) Visser of Woodstock and sons Leo (Wanda) Gauvin of Tillsonburg and Paul (Angie) Gauvin of Woodstock. He is predeceased by his parents Noe and Aurore (nee Goyette) Gauvin of Quebec and by his son Ron Gauvin (1981) and daughter Susan Gauvin (2014). Also predeceased by his siblings Romeo Gauvin, Andrew Gauvin and Delores (nee Gauvin) Fournier. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, Woodstock at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or VON Sakura House, would be appreciated.
