VANBAVINCKHOVE, Maurice - It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Maurice, at the Woodstock Hospital, on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the age of 87 years. Loving husband of the late Clara (nee Bossy) in 2015. Beloved father of Agnes Upper (Bob), Nicole Harmer (Tom) and Linda Geris (Hank). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Cathie-Sue, Ryan, Julie, Jason, Angela and Amanda and by 8 great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his parents Oscar and Bridget and his brothers Urbain, Andre and sister Rachel. Maurice was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Woodstock. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 6:45 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Wednesday, June 28 at 11am. The celebrant will be Father Charles Akinloye. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
