THOMSON, David John - Passed away suddenly on June 14th, 2015 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Clara Thomson (nee Roode) for over 45 years. Loving father of David (Natalie) Thomson, Lisa (Dave) Bradshaw and Tania (Carl) Holm. Cherished grandfather of Sabrina and John Bradshaw, Jordan, Colton, Natalia and Dakota Thomson and Emma and Addison Holm. Dear son of Ellen Thomson and the late Hilton Thomson. David is survived by siblings Alex (Bonnie), Doug, and Jim Thomson, Cathy (Ed) Down, Brenda (Larry) Mutch and Susan Arnold. Loved son-in-law of Diane Roode and the late Henry Roode. Dear brother-in-law of Gerald (Marlene) Roode, and Marian (Harold) Geerlinks, as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 735 Frontenac Crescent, Woodstock on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11am with Pastor Harry Koops and Pastor Ralph Koops (cousins of Clara Thomson) officiating.
