MOFFATT, May - Passed away at Secord Trails Care Community, Ingersoll on Thursday, September 14, 2017, Annie “May” Moffatt at the age of 92. Loving sister of Joan Marchbank. Loving aunt to Ian, Andrew, and Graham (Kathleen). May was predeceased by her brother Percy Moffatt. May was born on May 18th, 1925, in Leeds, Yorks, England. She served in the Women’s Auxiliary Airforce during WW2. She immigrated to Canada in 1951. May was an employee of Zurich Insurance Co. Toronto, for 37 years. She was also a volunteer at Red Cross and was a devoted member of the Eastern Star for 35 years. A memorial service will be held at The Church of the Epiphany, 560 Dundas St. Woodstock, on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 am. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service with the family. SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington St. N, Woodstock (519-537-3611) has been entrusted with the arrangements. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford or the War Amps would be greatly appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
