HIPPERSON, Betty - Peacefully with her family by her side at Sakura House, on Sunday, July 16, 2017, Betty Hazel Hipperson (nee Jones) of Woodstock in her 84th year. For 67+ years she was the beloved wife and best friend of Gerry Hipperson. Much loved mom of Ruth Parsons (David), Sharon Arias (Miguel), Susan Hipperson (Rod Steele), Gerry Hipperson (David Knezevic) and David Hipperson (Wendy Riddell). Dear sister of Don Jones (Joan) and Art Jones (Carolyn). Predeceased by brother Chuck Jones and loving parents Weiner and Rena Jones. Loving nanny who will be greatly missed by her 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Everyone will be welcomed for a public viewing at SMITH-Le ROY FUNERAL HOME, 69 Wellington St. N. Woodstock on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A private funeral service will be held in the chapel. Cremation to follow with internment of ashes in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. If desired memorial donations can be made to VON Sakura House or Canadian Cancer Society. Personal condolences may be sent at www.smithleroy.com. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all the people that gave Betty exceptional care throughout her illness
