LIVERGOOD, Doris M. - We are regretfully sharing the sorrowful passing of our wonderful Mom, Doris Margaret (nee Collins) on May 15th at the age of 93, just before becoming 94 on her birthday May 17th. Mom is survived by her one daughter Mildred Ellen (Robert) Henry of New Brunswick, and one son Bruce George (Carol) Livergood of Boynton Beach, Florida. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Lloyd Henry Jacob Livergood (Lebegut) at the age of 93 in March 2005. He was the son of George and Isabella Lebegut. Mom was deeply saddened by the passing of her first born grandchild Kevin Robert Henry who was laid to rest at the age of 39 in July of 1999. Survived by 4 grandchildren Trevor Bruce Henry of Sackville, NB, Bradley Stirling Lloyd Henry, Steve (Marcia) Livergood and Patti (Frank) Senese all of Florida. Five great grandchildren Jason Robert Wallace Mordue-Henry, Jessica Ann Mordue-Henry, Steven Robert Ronald Henry, Shylie Marie Henry, Laura Livergood and Lesley (Jeff) Dykstra. Five great great granddaughters with another great great granddaughter expected in August. She is survived by one sister Verna (Melvin) Marshall of London. Predeceased by her parents Edith Ellen Collins (nee Aikens) & William Collins. One brother Lorraine Collins and by 4 sisters Irene Collins, Florence (Lorne) Hinz, Audrey (Gerald) Neiberlien and Lois (Jack Bordman) Barron plus several nieces, nephews & Cousins. Mom and Dad began their lives together on their farm, which dad purchased from his father in Blandford Township, Oxford County. They farmed there for five years but Dad wanted a bigger farm. We moved to West Zorra Township, Oxford County where we had a big dairy farm for 10 years. On the side, Mom and Dad played their music for house and town hall parties. In our younger years, Bruce and I were put to bed in an upstairs bedroom and fell asleep listening to their music. On to Woodstock and new adventures, that eventually succeeded leading them to their dream of one day living in Florida. They retired to the West Palm Beach area. Eventually becoming gainfully employed, Dad as Superintendent of finish carpentry and Mom as a real estate associate. Dad retired at the age of 69, and Mom because she loved her job and wanted to put in 25 years in that field, retired at the age of 86 in 2008. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 1-1:45 pm. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 pm with Rev. Andy Brndjar officiating. Interment in Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated. Smith-Leroy, 519-537-3611.
