SOEDERHUYSEN, Han Gerard - Born October 27th, 1944 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, passed away peacefully at his home in Woodstock, Ontario on April 9th, 2016. Han is survived by his wife Diane Soederhuysen (MacArther) and his four children, Kenneth Soederhuysen, Bruce Soederhuysen, Deborah Soederhuysen-Sanders, Kym Soederhuysen, also his eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Most precious to him are little Princess Grace, Prince Logan and expected new love, Mia. Please follow in Han's footsteps by loving and protecting all children. Han was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, but was also known as the "Avon Man" and the Property Manager of Nesbitt Crescent. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked memorial contributions be considered to the Canadian Cancer Society and can be made through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home. Han was a willing participant in Cancer Research trials in London, knowing he was paying it forward to help other Cancer patients. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life Service will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1023 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock Ontario on Thursday, April 14th at 11:00am and officiated by Reverend Eleanor Caruana.
