EDWARDS, Dwayne (Dewy) - Dwayne Barry Edwards, age 70, of Stratford and formerly of Woodstock passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on November 28, 2015. Beloved husband of Kate Hodgson. Loving father of Bradley Edwards (Cherie), Kimberley Grant (Vince), Kennith Edwards (Mirjam) and Emily Hodgson (Brad). Grandfather of Zack, Skyler, Alex, Haley, Riley, Katelyn, Mika and Jackson. Also survived by a brother David Edwards, a sister Marion Law and several nieces and nephews. Dwayne was predeceased by his parents Robert and Gertrude Edwards, by brothers Harry and Reg Edwards and by a sister Joan Edwards. Dwayne worked as a mechanic and in sales at Goddard Ford and later Dennis Auto Service in Woodstock for many years. In 1994 he move to Stratford where he worked at Cooper-Standard until his retirement. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of Dwayne's life on Sunday, December 13, at 2 p.m. at the W.G. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME , 430 Huron Street, Stratford. A reception will follow the service. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Multi-Organ Transplant Unit of the London Health Sciences Centre or to the Stratford/Perth Humane Society through the funeral home. 519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
