WALKER, Eva Jacqueline (Wilkins) – Jackie was the loving wife of Bill for 55 years (January 9, 2015). Loving mother of Laurie Weagant (Dan) of St. Thomas, Kathie Beavon (late Alan) of St. Thomas, and Brad Walker (Mary-Jo) of Belmont. Proud and doting Grandma to Darcy Beavon, Travis, Abby and Riley Weagant, Breanna and Adam Walker. Sister of June Doubt, London; Ron Wilkins, Mission, British Columbia; Carol Beattie (David), Brownsville; Norene Pilkington (Bill), Holland Centre; David Wilkins (Donna Lee), Lakeside; Terry Wilkins (Judy), Kingsville. Sister-in-law of Margaret Breen, Ingersoll and Marilyn McCurdy (Vince), Caledonia. She was a very dear Aunt Jackie to her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Bob and wife Rose, brother Ted and wives Marlene and Pat, sister Gwenn and husband Jim Lyons; brothers-in-law Bob Doubt and Hugh Breen; sisters-in-law Sandra Wilkins and Margi Wilkins; niece Diana Lynn Wilkins; nephews John MacPherson and Christopher Lyons; great niece Melinda Graham and great nephew Kyle MacPherson. Special “Ma” to Moose, Bob, Sid and Larry. Special friend, mentor and sponsor to Aileen Waldick; Godmother to Ryan Grant. She was very proud of her chosen career as a public school teacher which she very much enjoyed for 35 years at schools in Avon, Miller`s Corners, Eastwood, Brownsville, Verschoyle and Harris Heights (Harris Field) in Ingersoll, the school from which she retired after 20 plus years. She spent many hours in service to the Avon, Crampton and Reynold`s Creek church communities, serving on numerous committees. Her commitment over the years to her neighbourhood, church and school communities was second to none. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME , 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Thursday, January 22nd from 7-9 p.m., Friday, January 23rd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jackie’s memory may be made to Sleeping Children Around the World, Putnam Growing Fields or a charity of your choice. Personal condolences may be sent at www.gffh.ca.
