KREUTZMANN, Annelies (Riederich) (Hill) - On December 28, 2014, we lost our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and best friend, Annelies (Riederich) (Hill) Kreutzmann after very long and extremely courageous battle with cancer. Mom left this world in the loving arms of her daughter Lisa (Bill) McKie, her son John (Marci) Hill and her grandson Dan (Tessa) Hill. Having spent special time earlier in the day were her grandchildren, Amanda (Dave) Bos, Joel (Lindsay) McKie and Ryan Hill and Lindsey (Anthony) Hill. Left to miss their granny are her 3 great-granddaughters, Mariah and Maliyah Bos and Alanna McKie. Mom is at peace and with her precious son Michael Hill who predeceased her in 1989. Annelies leaves behind her loving siblings, Johanna (Manfred Schmelter) of St.Thomas, Ontario and her brother Daniel (Sharon) Riederich of Orlando Florida. She was deceased by her parents Daniel Riederich 2004 and her mother Anna Rosa (Scharrer) Riederich 1958. Annelies was born in Austria on July 17, 1943 and immigrated with her family to Canada in 1953 settling in St.Thomas, Ont. Marrying her husband John C. Hill in 1962 where they raised their 3 children. After John’s death in 1989, she met and married Manfred Kruetzmann of Timmins, Ontario. After Manfred’s passing in 2000 mom moved back to the Woodstock area to be close to her children and grandchildren and enjoy retirement. She truly loved her family and was always her children and grandchildrens biggest cheerleader in life and enjoyed all the simple things that life brought. Among spending time with family and friends, swimming was a favourite past time of hers. Mom found pleasure in the taste of the first tree ripend peach of the season or a tomatoe she grew herself. Heaven help us if we weren’t hanging on tight when she slammed on the car brakes when her eye was drawn to wild asparagus. A piece of our hearts left with mom today, but she will live on strong in each and every one of us who loved her so deeply. Annelies also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, Deanne, Monica, Gina, Erich, Ursula, JD, Hollie and Max (2014). As per her wishes cremation has taken place and she will be buried with her beloved son Michael Hill during a private family interment later in the spring. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are greatly appreciated by the family
