MORRIS, Rosina M. - Rosina McKay Morris, 92, of Tavistock and formerly of Zorra Township, Oxford County (RR#1 Embro), passed away peacefully with family by her side at St Mary's Memorial Hospital, St Mary's, on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Throughout her lifetime, she had been active at the former Broadview United Church in Harrington, St Andrew's United Church in Brooksdale, and Grace United Church in Tavistock. She was a life member of the United Church Women. She had also been active with Broocksdale Women's Institute and Princess Elizabeth Women's Institute and was a life member of the Women's Institute Organization. Rosina was born in West Zorra Township, Oxford County on June 23, 1922, a daughter of the late Herbert and Catherine (McIntosh) Howe. She married Hilton John Morris on June 19th, 1946. He died on February 17, 2003. She is survived by her 5 children, Jim Morris, Bob and wife Nora Morris, Al and wife Debbie Morris, Glen and wife Cathy Morris, Joan Morris and husband Blair Kelner; grandchildren Michael Morris, Justin Mattys, Greg and wife Charleen Morris, Jeff Morris and friend Katie Way, Kevin Morris and friend Nicole Ferreira, Carrie and husband Martin Walker, Melissa and husband John Betto, Jenny and husband Jay Whitelaw, David Morris and friend Sarah Brown, Brayden Kelner and Jordan Kelner; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law Alma Wilkerson. Rosina was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Julie Morris (November 8, 2001); her granddaughter Amanda Morris (April 2011); her brother and sister-in-law Mac and IvaDell Howe; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John Wilkerson, Alvin and Jean Morris, George and Lillian Hewitt. Relatives and friends will be received in the FRANCIS FUNERAL HOME , 77 Woodstock St. North, Tavistock, on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in Grace United Church, Tavistock on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 at 11am. Reception following. Interment in Broadview United Cemetery, Harrington.
