HAYCOCK, Mr. Kenneth Martin - passed away Saturday July 19, 2014 at Four Counties Health Services. Born in Ingersoll 80 years ago. Son of the late Arthur and Dora Haycock. Husband of Donna Jean. Father of Kenneth, Gary, Steven, Gail, Donna and Gwen. Grandfather of 10, Great grandfather of 17. Survived by sisters Evelyn and Rosanne and brothers Jim and Doug. Also survived by step children Nancy, Greg, Shelley, David, Terri and 7 step grandchildren, including Jaida, Kasey and Dylan. Predeceased by a grandson J.T. Thompson, two brothers and two sisters. Ken was a Leading Air Craftsman in the Royal Canadian Air force (Airborne Medic, Korean War Veteran). He has been a member of several legions including Branch 583 Newbury. He held various positions during his lifetime including PSW at Meadowpark Nursing Home in London and managed Haycock Manor for seniors in Hanover. He enjoyed traveling, cooking, gardening, fishing and woodworking. He was known for his stories and especially his apple pies. All will be welcome to attend a memorial service on Saturday July 26, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 583 Newbury. Interment will be in Pardoville Union Cemetery. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted BOWMAN FUNERAL HOME , 4 Victoria Ave. (519-352-2390)
