TAYLOR, John E. (Jack) - peacefully May 4th, 2014 at his residence on Fyfe Ave., in his 98th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Norma (Axton) married 64 years, his parents George and Florence (Hartley) Taylor of Brantford, Ont. and several Brothers and Sisters. He leaves a Son Paul and daughter-in-law Darlene, Woodstock. Several nieces and nephews, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. A 34 year career at Overland Express (TNT) ending upon his retirement 1973 in the position of vice-president. Served WWII R.C.N. as Chief Petty Officer. Long time member of Central United Church. Founding member Y's mens club, served on executive board YMCA, founding member of Woodstock Probus Club. Cremation has taken place at his request there will be no service. Internment Paris Cemetery.
