WILKINS, Jim - Peacefully with his wings on and his son, Greg, by his side, at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Saturday morning, May 31st, 2014. James Nelson Wilkins, of R.R. #4, Owen Sound, at the age of 77 years. Darling husband and best friend of Beverly Wilkins (nee Bruce) for 41 years. Loving father of Greg Wilkins and his wife, Adena, of Owen Sound, Kathy Finch and her husband, Glenn, of Thamesford and Rob Wilkins, of Woodstock. Proud grandfather of Raven, Deven, Megen, Erren, Nigel and Ewan. Dear brother of Nancy Mollon (Ray), of Ingersoll, John Wilkins (Bonnie), Barry Wilkins (Deb) and Brian Wilkins (Toni), all of Woodstock and brother-in-law of Sandra Wilkins, of Barrie. Predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Audrey Wilkins and his brother, Frank Wilkins. A Funeral Service for Jim Wilkins will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME , 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dana Benson officiating. Visitation before service from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation for Palliative Care or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church as your expression of sympathy.
