TICHELAAR, Marinus - At his residence on Friday February 28, 2014. Marinus Peter Tichelaar of Caressant Care, Woodstock in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Aaltje "Alice" (nee VanEmden) Tichelaar (2011). Dear father of Joekjen Barker and her husband Albert, Marinus Tichelaar, Peter Tichelaar and his wife Rosann and Edward Tichelaar. Loved grandfather of seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Brother-in-law to Shirley VanEmden, Nellie Mulhouse (Jack) and survived by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Grietje Boomhouwer, Trynje Steenbeek and by his brothers Len Tichelaar and Everet Tichelaar. Marinus was the last surviving member of his own family. Marinus and his wife were both long time members of Emanuel Reformed Church. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Monday March 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Emmanuel Reformed Church, 170 Clarke St., Woodstock on Tuesday at 2:00 pm with Pastor Peter Burrill officiating. Interment later in the spring in the Oxford Pioneer Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
