ALGER, Stanley Lorne Ingram - Peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, January 6, 2014, Stan passed away at the age of 67. Devoted husband of Patricia Catt (nee Norwood) of Woodstock. Loving father of Sherry Brown (Mark Fonger) of Mt. Brydges and Shelly Alger (Dave Koeltz) of London; loving step-father of Lori Bonn (Jeff) of Woodstock and Mike Ling (Tracey) of Mt. Brydges. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Michelle and Brandon Brown; Ty and Tate Koeltz; Marquise, Dawson and Delanie Bonn; Mackenzie and Sammy Ling. Survived by his siblings Norma Strong, Doris English, Jim (Arlene) Alger; Liz (Ron) West and Tim Alger. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Frances Alger and brother Philip. Stan was a life member of the London Shriners, St. John's Lodge #20, London, the Delhi Chapter of the Eastern Star #226. Stan was Past Grand Patron of Ontario for the Eastern Star, a member of the London Lodge of Perfection and the London Sovereign Chapter of Rose Croix. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Friends will be received at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME , 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday January 10, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where a service to celebrate Stan's life will be held in the chapel on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.brockandvisser.com A service under auspices of Thames Valley Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Innerkip Chapter, will be held at the funeral home Friday evening at 6:00 pm, followed by a Masonic service under auspices St. John's Lodge # 20 A.F. and A.M. at 6:30 pm.
