McKERRAL, Jerry - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at Woodstock General Hospital on Friday, December 27, 2013, Gerald Leslie McKerral of Woodstock in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Diane McKerral (nee Frocklage) for 56 years. Loving father of Michael McKerral (Rachel) of Garson, ON, Patricia McKerral (Paul Mansz) of Rothsey, New Brunswick, Jill Cowie of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Ann Nicholls (Tim) of Woodstock, and Linda McKerral (Scott Strandberg) of Flourtown, Pennsylvania. Loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by his sisters Jean VanDamme and Rosemary George (Brian) both of Woodstock. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Kathleen (nee McMahon) McKerral and a brother Joseph McKerrel. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Jerry enjoyed a long career in labour relations, and was the founding president of the Rotary Club of Woodstock-Oxford. He always looked forward to his weekly pool games at the Woodstock Navy Club. Friends will be received at the SMITH-LeROY FUNERAL HOME , 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 1420 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11 am. A spring interment will be held in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
