WHATLEY, Shirley Ann Joyce - Peacefully with her family by her side at Alexandra Hospital on Thursday, December 15, 2011, Shirley Ann Joyce (Catling) Whatley of Ingersoll in her 77th year. Beloved wife and friend of Bill Sr. for 59 years. Much loved mother of Bill Jr. (Marie), Debbie Pembleton (Don), Christine Petrie and John (Kate). Cherished grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Survived by sister-in-law Jean Blancher, Ken (Marie) Whatley, Betty Catling and Madeline Catling. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Phyllis Catling, sisters Joan Palmer, Betty States and brothers Fred Catling Jr. and Robert Catling. Shirley was a former member of St. James' Anglican Choir, the Ingersoll Choral Society and the Overtones Senior Choir. Friends will be received at St. James's Anglican Church 184 Oxford Street, Ingersoll Monday, December 19, 2011 from 10-11am with the funeral service at 11 am. Interment Harris Street Cemetery.
